Installation of this Hotfix will correct the following MSINFO32.EXE issue:
The Microsoft System Information tool (msinfo32.exe) does not disply the amount of physical memory installed correctly in the Vista 64-bit Operating System with 4GB or more memory installed.

This caused the bootable media installs to fail because they couldn't find the ROM image on disk (filename mismatch)
