Microsoft Hotfix KB950233-Fixes incorrect total memory reported by msinfo32.exe This is a Microsoft Hotfix intended to correct an incorrect data type used to calculate total physical memory in the the msinfo32.exe tool. This program should be run on Windows Vista 64-bit based Toshiba computers only, and will install a Microsoft update based on the knowledge base article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950233.
Installation of this Hotfix will correct the following MSINFO32.EXE issue:
The Microsoft System Information tool (msinfo32.exe) does not disply the amount of physical memory installed correctly in the Vista 64-bit Operating System with 4GB or more memory installed.
Hotfix Installation Instructions
